Want to be liked? Make mistake!

At the beginning of human evolution, in order to survive we needed to stay together, be alike. Strangers were not welcomed.

Although we don't live in the caves anymore, we still tend to like people more if they are similar to us. And none of us is perfect!

Therefore, if someone comes across as a person who never makes mistakes, it creates distance and distrust.

Occasional miss-ups and blunders make us more human, more alike and draw others closer to us.

TIP OF THE DAY:

If you are a leader, there is no need to try to be perfect at all times! Don't be afraid to make mistake, openly admit it and move on. Your team members will unconsciously like you more and at the conscious level they will have more respect towards you.
